CVTP: Central Valley Technology Program
CVTP was formed in 1987 to provide high quality technology training opportunities for educators by educators. Throughout the past two decades, literally thousands of educators from school districts in California have participated in CVTP's Summer Tech Camps. Each participant at Camp works on either a PC or Macintosh computer provided by CVTP. Our goal is to teach teachers how to use a computer and related technologies more effectively--whether it is for their personal use or to see and learn the latest techniques for integrating other technology tools into their curriculum. There are specific learning opportunity sessions designed for all ability levels and grade levels where appropriate. All of the sessions are taught with a focus on the curriculum and not the specific technology tool itself.
