1:1 Computing Program Experience

Chuck was the lead Administrator for developing, implementing and sustaining the
Anytime, Anywhere, Anyone Learning initiative for the Clovis Unified School District. The "computer for every student" program began in 1996 with Clovis Unified being one of the "pioneer public schools" with Microsoft's AAL program. By 2007, when Chuck retired from the District as its Chief Technology Officer, more than 10,500 students/families had participated in this extremely successful learning initiative.
Throughout the years, Chuck has been asked to present his thoughts and strategies about implementing and sustaining 1:1 computing programs at numerous national and international conferences and workshops. These include:
1) IBM & Lenovo--National CIO/Superintendent Summits in Pallisades, New York; ThinkTanks in Quebec, New Jersey, and Rhode Island; and for numerous private and public schools in California, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Texas.
2) Microsoft--National Summits for 1:1 Computing in Boston, Atlanta, Seattle, and Dallas; National CIO Summit in Seattle; and two International Summits in the UK.
3) Bertlesmann Foundation--International Summit for Excellence in Technology Education in Gutersloh, Germany.
4) Computelec--International Technology Summit in Geelong, Australia.
